According to an organization press release, Easter Seals recently partnered with DirectEmployers Association to connect veterans and people with disabilities to meaningful employment opportunities. DirectEmployers maintains a list of more than 800 businesses and employers who share Easter Seals’ dedication to presenting employment opportunities to qualified individuals of all abilities. During the partnership, DirectEmployers will create a job portal to connect job seekers from the Easter Seals’ community to employment opportunities with DirectEmployers’ members.
DirectEmployers will also work with Easter Seals’ military and veteran division to unite military family members and veterans with companies and organizations that value the qualities veterans contribute to the workforce. With a substantial portion of its membership comprised of federal contractors, DirectEmployers will be able to help many of these members meet federal hiring requirements by connecting them to a community of qualified veterans.
